Housing Allowance

As a reinforcing intervention to prevent and deal with the housing insecurity of low or medium income households that live in rented housing, the Housing Allowance program is being implemented pursuant to articles 3 and 15 of Law 4472/2017 (74 A) and No. 71670 /2021 K.Y.A. (4500 B’).

The allowance provides 70 to 210 euros per month, depending on the composition of the beneficiary unit, and has a total annual budget of 400 million euros from regular budget resources. Co-competent services for the implementation of the program are the Electronic Governance of Social Security SA (IDIKA) and the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA).

The submission of applications for the Allowance is made by citizens directly with taxis codes or through the competent services of the Social Services of the Municipalities and Community Centers, through the electronic platform of the program  www.epidomastegasis.gr
